Why it may suit your maintenance needs

Silicone brake fluid that does not absorb moisture, helps resist rust and corrosion, and is paint safe.

This Automec Performance silicone brake fluid is a DOT 5 product supplied in a 0.5 litre container. It is designed not to absorb moisture in the way standard polyglycol brake fluid can, which means it does not need replacing for that reason.

Because moisture is kept out of the system, it helps reduce the conditions that lead to rust and corrosion. The listing also states that it has a boiling point above 200°C, does not damage paint, and is flame retardant.
