Fenwick's Disc Brake Cleaner Aerosol, Green, 500 ml, Single

Fenwick's disc brake cleaner aerosol for clean, dry braking parts

A dry brake and drivetrain cleaner that helps lift contamination away and leaves parts clean with no residue.

This 500 ml aerosol is made for cleaning brake components and other bike parts where a dry, contaminant-free finish matters. Its solvent blend is designed to cut through dirt and grime without leaving a wet residue behind.

It is intended to help improve brake performance by removing contamination that can contribute to squeal and pad glazing. The same dry degreasing action also makes it useful on chains, gear mesh, cassettes, chain sets, rims and bearings.

Why it is useful in the workshop

• Leaves surfaces clean and dry after use
• Can be used on dried-on dirt without needing to wet the bike first
• Suitable for brake parts as well as selected drivetrain and bearing areas
• Useful for maintenance tasks on forks, shocks and pivots

Things to keep in mind

The listing also refers to a silicone formula for fork stanchions and rear shock shafts, so this product appears to cover more than brake cleaning alone. Check the product listing carefully to make sure it matches the job you need before buying, especially if you are using it on a specific bike component.

For best results, the source listing recommends cleaning with FS-10 (2018A) bike cleaner beforehand.
