This Gillterway scratch remover is aimed at everyday paintwork touch-ups, giving you a straightforward way to work on light scratches, scuffs and swirl marks at home. The listing describes it as a repair paste and scratch removal wax, with a wipe sponge included for application.

What it is designed to do

• Helps reduce the look of shallow scratches, scuffs and swirl marks.
• Can be used on a wide range of vehicle paint finishes, including glossy, metallic and solid colours.
• Intended for minor blemishes such as key marks and trolley scuffs rather than deeper damage.

Practical points for everyday use

• Designed for DIY use without specialist tools.
• Can be applied with a microfiber cloth according to the listing.
• Formulated to be gentle on painted surfaces and clear coats.
• Made to resist rain, regular washing and daily exposure.

What to keep in mind

The product is described as suitable for minor surface marks, so it is best treated as a cosmetic car care product rather than a repair for deep paint damage. For best results, check that the scratch is suitable for this type of treatment before buying.

The listing also shows a 2 pack and mentions 120 ml scratch removal wax with a wipe sponge, so it may suit someone who wants a small home detailing item to keep in the garage or boot for occasional use.
