Hycote Heavy Duty Silicone Lubricant Spray, 400 ml

Where it can help

A colourless, odourless silicone spray for general-purpose lubrication on metals, plastics and other hard surfaces.

This Hycote silicone spray is designed for general-purpose lubrication where a cleaner, low-odour finish is preferred. The formula is pure silicone based and intended for use on metals, plastics and most other hard, impervious surfaces.

It is the sort of product that can be useful around the workshop or on everyday vehicle maintenance jobs, especially where parts need smoother movement without a greasy residue. The listing highlights common uses such as locks, hinges, door seals, window channels, aerials, battery terminals and other squeak and creak points.

• Helps improve slip on suitable hard surfaces
• Useful for moving parts and contact points around the vehicle
• Colourless and odourless for a tidier finish
• Suitable for general automotive workshop use

Things to check before buying

• Best suited to hard, impervious surfaces rather than absorbent materials
• Check the product listing and your vehicle requirements if you are using it on a specific part
• Follow the can instructions for safe application and avoid unsupported uses

The 400 ml can gives you a practical amount for routine maintenance and occasional workshop jobs without taking up much space on the shelf.
