Product details

Permatex synthetic disc brake caliper lubricant, 14g

Synthetic caliper lubricant that helps prevent seizing, sticking and brake squeal during brake servicing.

Permatex Ultra Disc Brake Caliper Lubricant is a green, non-melting synthetic lubricant supplied in a 14g pack. It is made for brake servicing where metal-to-metal contact points need lubrication to help reduce seizing, sticking and brake squeal.

Why it matters during brake work

Disc brake components can be exposed to heat, moisture and road grime. A lubricant like this is used on the relevant contact areas to help keep parts moving more freely through the pad life, rather than drying out or breaking down under brake conditions.

What to check before buying

This is a specialist brake lubricant, so it is best suited to brake servicing rather than general workshop use. Check that you are working on the relevant disc brake contact points and follow the vehicle and brake component instructions for correct application.

The stated temperature range is -40°F to 400°F (-40° to 204°C).
