Generic 6 Inch Wool Buffing Pad, Reusable Polisher Cutting Pad

Reusable 6 inch wool cutting pad for polishing and paint correction

A reusable 6 inch wool cutting pad for polishing, scratch removal and paint restoration work on automotive and other painted surfaces.

This wool buffing pad is built for cutting and polishing work where you need more bite than a finishing pad can usually provide. The 6 inch format suits common polishing tasks on car paint, with use cases that include removing oxidation, sanding marks and deeper scratches during paint restoration work.

The wool construction is described as washable and reusable, so it can be cleaned and used again across multiple jobs. The pad is also designed to support airflow and reduce heat build-up during polishing, which is useful on longer sessions where control and consistency matter.

What it is suited to

• Automotive detailing and paint correction
• Removing oxidation and sanding marks
• Scratch removal and compound work
• Marine gel coat polishing
• General polishing on metal or painted surfaces

Practical points for buyers

• The pad is intended for cutting and polishing rather than light finishing work.
• Its balanced design is described as helping to reduce vibration and improve handling.
• It is presented as suitable for repeated washing, which may help extend its working life.
• The listing also mentions use on furniture and wooden crafts, alongside automotive applications.

For best results, check that your polisher and backing setup match the pad type before buying, especially if you are replacing an existing pad rather than starting a full polishing kit.
