Lake Country 6.5" HDO Blue Foam Heavy Polishing Pad, 1-Pack

Heavy-cut foam pad for paint correction on 6-inch backing plates

A heavy-cut foam polishing pad for correcting moderate defects on painted surfaces, made for 6-inch backing plates and long-stroke dual-action polishers.

The Lake Country 6.5" HDO Blue Foam Heavy Polishing Pad is built for heavier polishing work on painted surfaces. It is intended for use with medium to heavy cut compounds when you need to work on moderate scratches, scuffs, etchings, swirl marks, or harder paint finishes.

This 1-pack pad fits 6-inch backing plates with a hook-and-loop attachment and is designed for long-stroke dual-action polishers. The tapered edge design helps keep the pad stable in use and is made to reduce pad rolling and minimise haze during polishing.

Why the HDO construction matters

• The dual-layer foam design helps reduce friction and heat build-up inside the pad.
• The cooling chamber between the foam layers is designed to limit heat transfer and help the pad keep its shape.
• Better machine control on curved panels can make it easier to stay consistent across the panel.

Best suited to

• Moderate to heavy defect removal on painted surfaces
• Polishing with medium to heavy cut compounds
• Use with long-stroke dual-action polishers
• Work where a heavier foam pad is needed for correction rather than finishing
