MMDBD 5 Piece 5 Inch Wool Polishing Pads for Drill with Adapter

What the pads are designed to do

A 5-piece wool pad set for drill-based car polishing, waxing and buffing, supplied with a backer pad and drill adapter.

This set is aimed at car detailing jobs where you want a drill-mounted pad for polishing, waxing, buffing and finishing work. The listing includes 5 wool polishing pads, plus 1 adhesive backer pad and 1 drill adapter, so you have the basic parts needed to get started.

• Suitable for polishing, compounding, waxing and sealing glaze tasks.
• Can also be used for sanding, detail cleaning and final finishing work.
• Listed for use on painted surfaces and other common detailing jobs.

Practical features

• The pads are made from wool and are described as soft, washable and reusable.
• The hook and loop backing is meant to make pad changes quicker.
• The listing says the pads are designed to help reduce heat build-up during use.
• They are intended for use with compatible drill presses, high-speed angle grinders and polishing machines.

Things to keep in mind before buying

• The source listing gives the size as 5 inch, with selected variation wording shown as 5 Inc - 7.
• Check that your drill or machine can accept the included adapter and backer pad.
• For best results, match the pad to the task and the surface you are working on.
• The listing mentions use on other materials such as glass, stone, ceramics, wood, leather furniture and counters, but suitability should still be checked for your specific job.

For UK buyers, this is the kind of kit that suits occasional car care and detailing work where a simple drill-based polishing setup is useful rather than a full machine polisher.
