sourcing map 5-piece 5 inch wool buffing pads for polishing and cutting

A 5-piece set of 5 inch wool buffing pads for polishing, buffing and cutting tasks, with hook and loop backing for quick pad changes.

This pack contains 5 wool buffing pads in a 5 inch size, made for car polishing, buffing and cutting work. The wool fibres are described as evenly distributed, and the pads are designed with a hook and loop backing so they can be changed quickly on a compatible polisher.

What the pads are suited to

These pads can be used directly for polishing or alongside polishing wax. The listing also says they are suitable for car paint polishing and waxing, as well as finishing work on metal, plastic, stone, wood and painted wooden furniture.

Practical points to keep in mind

• The pads are listed as washable and reusable.
• The wool construction is intended to help reach tighter areas more easily.
• The backing is designed to hold well during use so the pad is less likely to slide off.
• When using a polisher, avoid staying in one spot for too long to reduce the risk of exposing the primer.

For best results, check that your machine and backing setup are suitable for a 5 inch hook and loop pad before ordering.
