6 inch wool buffing pads for polishing and cutting jobs

A 10-pack of 6 inch wool buffing pads for car polishing, waxing and cutting, with hook and loop backing for quick pad changes.

This sourcing map 10-piece set gives you wool buffing pads in a 6 inch size, made for car paint polishing, waxing and cutting work. The pads use a hook and loop backing, so they can be swapped over quickly on a compatible polisher and stay in place securely during use.

What the pads are made for

The fine wool surface is intended for polishing tasks where you want a pad that can work across paint, and it can also be used with polishing wax. The listing also notes suitability for finishing work on metal, plastic, stone and wood, including paint polishing on wooden furniture.

Practical details for workshop use

• Pack size: 10 wool buffing pads
• Pad size: 6 inch diameter
• Thickness: 18 mm
• Backing: Hook and loop for faster pad changes

Points to keep in mind

• The listing advises avoiding staying in one spot for too long when using a polisher, to reduce the risk of exposing the paint primer.
• The pad type and size should be checked against your machine and the job you are doing before buying.
• Best suited to buyers who want wool pads rather than foam pads for polishing and buffing work.
