SPTA 3-Pack Blue Polishing Pads for 150 mm Backing Plate

SPTA 3-pack blue polishing pads for 150 mm backing plates

A 3-pack of blue polishing sponge pads for compounding, polishing and waxing with a 150 mm backing plate fitment.

These SPTA polishing pads are made for car buffer polishers and come as a pack of three. The blue sponge pads are sized for a 150 mm backing plate, so they suit shoppers looking for replacement or spare pads for compounding, polishing and waxing work.

The pads use a high-density polyurethane sponge with a Velcro backing for quick changes. The sponge design includes grooves to help hold excess polishing paste and abrasive, while also allowing more air movement through the pad to help reduce heat build-up during use.

What the pad design is aiming to do

• The sponge has even pores and a soft feel for easier bending around bodywork.
• The grooved surface is designed to store excess paste and abrasive while improving airflow.
• The Velcro fastening is intended to make pad changes quicker and more straightforward.
• The lower backing is designed to help reduce wear during polishing.

Care and use notes

• If too much abrasive is used, the pad should be cleaned promptly.
• Cleaning should avoid solvents or alkaline detergents.
• These are polishing sponge pads, so the important check is that your machine and backing plate match the 150 mm size stated here.

For detail work, machine polishing, or general paint correction tasks, this is a straightforward pack of replacement pads rather than a full polishing kit.
