Product details

Flexible black RTV sealant for automotive gasket work

A flexible black RTV silicone sealant for creating or replacing gaskets in automotive sealing applications.

Visbella RTV Silicone Gasket Maker is a 99g black sealant designed for automotive applications where a flexible, oil-resistant gasket or seal is required. Its neutral, non-corrosive formula is described as sensor-safe and suitable for use on oily surfaces.

The sealant is intended to resist engine oil, transmission fluid, gear lubricant and coolant. The stated working temperature range is -62°C to 315°C, with the formula designed to remain flexible through thermal cycling rather than hardening, shrinking or cracking.

Suggested automotive applications

Use as a gasket maker or sealant for valve covers and valve guides.
Suitable applications listed by the manufacturer include oil pans, transmission pans, intake manifold end seals, timing gear covers and differential covers.
Can be used to replace pre-cut gaskets where the application and vehicle manufacturer’s requirements allow.

Check the product instructions and the vehicle or component requirements before application, particularly when replacing a pre-cut gasket.
