Decex Rust Remover Kit with 100ml Hammerite Gel, Brushes, Gloves and Paintbrush

Decex rust remover kit with Hammerite gel and application tools

A rust treatment bundle with Hammerite gel, three wire brushes, gloves and a paintbrush for working on metal surfaces, including cars, bikes and gates.

This bundle brings together 100ml of Hammerite Rust Remover Gel with the basic tools needed to apply it neatly and clear away loose rust. The gel has a non-drip formula, which makes it easier to use on vertical metal surfaces such as gates, railings and car bodywork.

According to the listing, the gel works in 2 to 3 hours and can be applied directly to rust without complicated preparation or rinsing. That makes it a straightforward rust treatment for DIY jobs where you want to deal with corrosion before repainting or leaving the metal bare.

What comes in the bundle

• Hammerite Rust Remover Gel, 100ml
• Three wire brushes in nylon, steel and brass
• Decex paintbrush for applying the gel
• Pair of diamond-texture grip gloves

Where it can be used

The listing covers a wide range of metal surfaces, including car bodywork, vehicle parts, chrome, bike frames and chains, BBQ grills, radiators, garden gates, railings, and kitchen or bathroom sinks. It is also described as suitable for both indoor and outdoor metalwork.

For vehicle use, the key point is that this is a rust treatment bundle rather than a repair filler. It is intended for treating rust on metal panels and components, including exhaust-related metalwork and other body areas where rust has started to take hold.

Points to keep in mind before buying

• The gel is listed as working on rust, not as a full body repair product.
• The wire brushes are included for removing loose rust and surface debris.
• The product information says it does not damage surrounding paintwork.
• The bundle is for metal surfaces, so checking the exact condition of the item you plan to treat is still important.

Hammerite is presented here as the rust treatment brand in the bundle, with Decex supplying the kit format and application tools.
