Ferro-bet Rust Remover Converter, bottled, 1 L

Ferro-bet rust remover converter for ferrous metal, bottled 1 L

A rust converter for ferrous metal that helps turn corrosion into a paintable surface without sanding.

This Ferro-bet rust remover converter is intended for rusted ferrous metal surfaces when you want to address corrosion and move on to priming or painting. The formula reacts chemically with rust and is described as converting it into a magnetite layer, leaving the surface ready for the next stage of work.

Application methods

You can apply it by spraying, brushing, or immersion. The listing says it works without sanding, which can be helpful on awkward or hard-to-reach areas such as bodywork, chassis sections, wheel arches, tools, bikes, boats, caravans, gates, fences, or garden equipment.

What the listing says about the treatment

• Helps remove rust from ferrous-based metal items
• Neutralises corrosion and leaves a protective layer of zinc and iron phosphate
• Converts rust into a surface that is ready to prime or paint
• Presented as a Norwegian formula developed since 1955

Things to keep in mind

This is a metal rust treatment rather than a general-purpose cleaner. Make sure the part you want to treat is suitable for a rust converter, and follow the product instructions carefully, especially on painted panels, structural parts, or anything that needs a specific prep process before coating.
