Black RTV silicone for automotive gasket sealing

Black RTV silicone sealant for automotive and motorcycle gasket-making and sealing work.

This flintronic RTV engine sealant is supplied as two 85ml tubes in black. The silicone formula is intended for sealing work on automobiles, motorcycles and metal products, including applications such as timing covers, intake manifolds, exhaust manifolds, cylinder heads and carburetors.

Where it can be used

The cured sealant is described as resistant to water, steam, gasoline and antifreeze, with a stated working range of -62°C to 315°C. It is also described for use on common materials including stainless steel, aluminium, glass and wood.

Prepare the surface first
