Hammerite Rust Remover Gel, 100ml Single Tube

Hammerite rust remover gel for rusty metal surfaces

Non-drip rust remover gel for rusty metal, designed to lift rust without damaging surrounding paintwork.

This 100ml Hammerite rust remover gel is made for dealing with rust on metal without the mess of a runny liquid. The thick gel can be brushed directly onto the affected area, which makes it easier to use on vertical surfaces, awkward shapes and detailed metalwork where a thinner product would simply drip away.

It is designed to remove rust from metal while leaving surrounding paintwork alone, so it suits jobs where you want to treat corrosion without stripping everything back. The listing says it can be used on both interior and exterior metal surfaces, which makes it useful for a range of maintenance tasks around the home, garage or garden.

What it is suited to

• Rusty locks, hinges and bolts
• Railings, garden furniture and garage doors
• Other metal items that need rust removal rather than a full repaint

How it is used

• Brush the gel onto the rusty metal surface
• Leave it in place for 2 to 3 hours
• Wipe away the residue with a cloth

The gel format is the main advantage here. It helps the product stay where it is applied and work into crevices, which is especially handy on detailed or uneven metal parts. The single 100ml tube is a compact size for smaller repair jobs or occasional use.
