JENOLITE Thick Liquid Rust Remover, 5 Litre Pack

JENOLITE thick liquid rust remover for larger metal restoration jobs

A non-drip rust remover for ferrous metal that helps take rust back to bare metal, with better cling on vertical surfaces.

This 5 litre pack of JENOLITE Rust Remover uses a thick, non-drip, thixotropic formula that clings to rusty metal instead of running off. That makes it far easier to use on vertical surfaces, where a thinner liquid can be awkward to keep in place.

It is intended for ferrous metals such as cast iron and steel, and works by removing rust back to bare metal so the surface is ready for primer and paint. For anyone dealing with rust on car bodywork, vehicle chassis, wheel arches, bikes, tools, gates, garden furniture, BBQs, boats or machinery, it gives a more controlled way to treat the affected area.

Why shoppers choose this version

• The thick liquid formula helps it stay where you apply it
• It is useful on upright or awkward surfaces where drip-off is a problem
• It removes rust rather than simply covering it up
• The treated metal is left ready for priming and painting
• The 5 litre size suits bigger restoration or workshop jobs

Points to check before buying

• It is for ferrous metal surfaces, so check the material before use
• Coverage depends on the condition of the rusted area and how heavily it is applied
• Allow for proper preparation before repainting once the rust has been removed
