A 3-pack of 5 inch wool buffing pads for polishing, waxing and cutting tasks on car paint and other surfaces.

These wool buffing pads are made for polishing work where a soft, even buffing surface is needed. The pack includes 3 pads, each with a 5 inch diameter and hook and loop backing for quicker pad changes on compatible polishers.

What they are suited to

The listing describes them as suitable for car paint polishing and waxing, as well as finishing work on metal, plastic, stone, wood and painted furniture. They can be used directly for polishing or alongside polishing wax.

Material and handling

Made from fine wool, with the fibres described as evenly distributed, these pads are intended to be durable and washable for reuse. The wool surface is also noted as useful for polishing in harder to reach areas.

Points to keep in mind

• The pad size is listed as 5 inch with a thickness of 16 mm.
• The hook and loop backing is designed to help the pad stay in place during use.
• The product listing advises not to keep a polisher in one spot for too long, to avoid exposing the paint primer.
• Check your machine and backing plate requirements before buying, as compatibility is not stated beyond the hook and loop backing.
