Black silicone sealant for minor automotive gaps and weatherstrips

A 30ml black silicone sealant for filling minor gaps and sealing areas around car bodywork, trims and weatherstrips.

The flintronic sealant is supplied as one 30ml tube of black silicone adhesive for automotive sealing and bonding tasks. It is described for use on common car body materials such as metal and plastic, including minor gaps and joints around windscreens, door and window frames, boot areas and roofs.

Application and curing

Clean the surfaces first so they are free from oil and stains, then apply the sealant evenly and remove excess material. The supplied tools are intended to help spread the sealant. Press the joined area for about one minute, then allow 24 hours for the sealant to cure and set before use.

Sealing properties

The silicone forms a waterproof sealing layer intended to help prevent rainwater entering through treated gaps.
The stated working temperature range is -50°C to 200°C.
Once cured, the sealant is described as elastic and suitable for minor gaps and joints.
