Gtechniq W5 All Purpose Cleaner Spray, 500 ml (Pack of 2)

Where it can be used

A biodegradable all-purpose cleaner for tackling oil, grease and stubborn grime on a wide range of car surfaces, including paintwork, trim, tyres, wheels, mats, carpet and engine bays.

Gtechniq W5 is a heavy-duty car degreaser designed to deal with oil, grease and stubborn stains without making the job more complicated than it needs to be. The citrus-based formula is made to break the bond between grime and the surface, so it can be useful when normal shampoo or interior cleaner is not enough.

The listing says it is suitable for use on paintwork, trim, tyres, wheels, floor mats, carpet and engine bays. It is also described as a useful cleaner for interior carpets. The product is not suitable for leather, so that is one surface to avoid.

How it is used

Application is straightforward: spray it on, leave it for a few minutes, then rinse off with water. That makes it a practical choice for regular cleaning jobs where you want something that can lift oily residue rather than just move it around.

Pack and buying notes

For shoppers looking for a multi-surface cleaner with a stronger degreasing focus, this sits closer to a proper workshop-style cleaner than a light maintenance spray.
