Gtechniq W5 All Purpose Cleaner 5L Car Degreaser Spray

Gtechniq W5 all purpose cleaner 5L for oil, grease and grime

A 5L citrus-based cleaner for removing oil, grease and stubborn grime from a wide range of car surfaces, with a simple spray, wait and rinse application.

Gtechniq W5 is a heavy duty all purpose cleaner and degreaser in a 5 litre pack. The citrus-based formula is made to break down oil and grease rather than just moving it around, which makes it useful when you are dealing with stubborn dirt on the car and around the workshop.

It can be used on paintwork, trim, tyres and wheels, as well as floor mats, carpet and engine bays. The listing also notes that it is not suitable for leather, so that is one surface to avoid.

How it is used

The process is straightforward: spray it on, leave it for a few minutes, then rinse off with water. That makes it a practical cleaner for regular maintenance as well as more stubborn patch cleaning where grease or oil has built up.

Where it makes sense

• Useful for greasy marks and oil-based dirt on exterior and interior car surfaces
• Suitable for paintwork, trim, tyres, wheels, floor mats, carpet and engine bays
• Handy when you want one cleaner for several jobs rather than a shelf full of specialist products
• Not suitable for leather, so check the surface before applying

The 5L size is a sensible choice if you go through cleaner regularly or want a larger bottle for repeated use.
