JENOLITE Rust Converter Liquid, 5 Litre Pack

How it behaves on rusty metal

Turns rust into a stable, paintable surface and helps slow rust from coming back on metal.

JENOLITE Rust Converter Liquid is a water-based treatment for metal surfaces that converts rust into a stable, paintable finish. Supplied in a 5 litre pack, it gives you a larger amount for rust repair work on cars and other metal items where corrosion needs to be neutralised before painting.

The liquid reacts with rust and converts it into a stable compound in around 15 minutes. When it has cured, the surface turns black and can either be left as it is or painted over with most water or oil based paints.

You can apply it by brush, roller or spray, which makes it suitable for different repair areas and levels of access. Coverage is stated as approximately 6 to 8m² per litre, so the pack size is useful when you have a larger area of corrosion to treat.

Why it’s useful for workshop or driveway repairs

• Converts rust into a stable surface ready for painting
• Acts as a rust inhibitor to help prevent rust returning
• Water-based formulation for metal treatment work
• Can be brushed, rolled or sprayed on
• Leaves a black cured surface that can be painted or left as is
• Made in Britain by JENOLITE

Before you buy

This is a rust treatment product, not a filler or a cosmetic cover-up. It is designed for rusty metal that still needs proper preparation before paint. Check the area you want to treat, make sure it is suitable for a rust converter, and follow the product instructions for the best results.
